NRBC Officers and Directors

Tom McCutcheon – President

Tom McCutcheon is the chairman of the NRBC board. A National Reining Breeders Classic Open Champion, NRBC Reserve Champion and two-time NRHA Derby Reserve Champion, he is a two-time USET Reining Championship winner. Tom helped bring home the Gold at the 2002 World Equestrian Games in Jerez, Spain and earned Individual Silver Medal. In 2010, aboard Gunners Special Nite, owned by Turnabout Farm, Tom brought home both the Individual and Team Gold. Tom McCutcheon Reining Horses, Inc., in Aubrey, Texas, is a premier reining training, breeding, and rehab facility.

Colleen McQuay – Vice President
Colleen, an NRHA Hall of Fame inductee, is active in both the Reining world and the Hunter and Jumper world. She has served on the board of the National Reining Horse Association where she helped initiate the NRHA show rating system and other important programs. As part of the NRBC team, she has been innovative in creating programs and activities that make the show so special.

Cheryl Magoteaux Cody – Secretary-Treasurer

A part of the NRBC since the beginning, Cheryl Magoteaux Cody’s company, Pro Management, Inc., has produced and managed some of the world’s most prestigious performance horse events, including the NRBC, the NRHA Futurity and Derby as well as the 2018 World Equestrian Games. She is also the President of Rein In Cancer.

Tim McQuay
Tim McQuay, the NRHA’s first-ever $2 Million Earner, has won the NRHA Futurity and Derby as well as an NRBC Championship and was inducted into the NRHA Hall of Fame in 2000. A founding director of the NRBC, Tim’s experience and guidance have been instrumental in charting the organization’s direction.

Dell Hendricks
Dell Hendricks is an NRHA Futurity Champion and 5-time NRBC Champion! He has also served as the President of the National Reining Horse Association. Dell and his wife Terri live in Tioga, Texas. For more information about Dell, please visit his website, www.hendricksreininghorses.com.

Pete Kyle
Former AQHA Professional Horseman of the Year, Pete Kyle, is another of the NRBC’s founding directors. Pete, the rider and trainer of numerous AQHA and NRHA World Champions, has been instrumental in international reining competition, serving as Chair of the USEF Reining High Performance Committee and serving as an FEI Reining Board Member.
