Matt Mills Reining Horses returns to the National Reining Breeders Classic in 2023 as the sponsor of the Open Draw party for the third consecutive year.

National Reining Horse Association Professional and Million Dollar Rider Matt Mills, along with his wife, Karen, are enthusiastic long-time sponsors of the NRBC, supporting the show in varying ways for nearly 20 years.

Matt said, “We look forward to the NRBC every year, and this year is no different! We are excited for the new venue for the NRBC at Tulsa, Oklahoma! We love supporting this event because we appreciate all of the hard work and attention to detail that goes into putting this it on. If you can, come out and watch the best of the best in the reining horse industry, or watch the live feed!”

Matt has been featured on Paramount Network’s “The Last Cowboy” since its inception. He trains and shows futurity and derby horses and is passionate about coaching youth and Non Pro riders as well. Recently, Matt moved to Weatherford, Texas to become a premier horse trainer for Bosque Ranch, owned by Taylor Sheridan.  He is in high demand for clinics in the United States, Mexico, and Europe, and is also committed to producing his popular online instructional videos.

Finishing 2022 as one of the National Reining Horse Association’s top five riders,  Matt will be featured at the inaugural American Performance Horseman. The top five year-end money earning professionals from the NRHA, the National Reined Cow Horse Association, and the National Cutting Horse Association, will come together for the first time ever for a one-of-a-kind event. Matt will face off against other top names in the reining industry for his share of the million-dollar purse.

The National Reining Breeders Classic is set for April 16 – 23, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the Built Ford Tough Livestock Complex at Expo Square. The Matt Mills Reining Horse Open Draw Party will be held Thursday, April 20, and everyone is invited to attend.
